2019 is here and we are already 2 weeks behind on getting the Castle ready for spring and summer.
The next Garden Gathering March 16th, is an important one! If you plan on Volunteering please speak up and let us know here that you plan on attending. We understand that some can not make the event because of work, kids, life etc… that's okay, don't bother posting, we will see you at the next one.
Many things at the castle need attending too! If we get to them all depends on volunteer turn out. (a.k.a.You) a short list of things needing attention.
Dead heading (cutting the old dead growth from last summer)
Vegetable garden fence needs put up,
Pine straw spread on South side of the Castle
Planting new plants
All annual pots need roots removed and soil turned (e.g. dry mote pots and Hot bed pots)
Green house Prep
Rock fetching from both gorges this is for various projects that need completed around the Castle this summer.
If you are going to attend the event, let us know here if you can ahead of time. This helps us on project planning 7 dinner ideas. Remember to dress accordingly, especially If you're planning on staying late. Right now the weather man says 45 to 50 and cloudy during the day and 34 at night, no rain. If you make it by 12:30-ish and are present when it raps up usually around 4:30 to 5pm-ish, the Knights will cover dinner for you. (This is a bring your own beverage event)

Do I need to bring my own tools?
No. All you need to bring is gloves and you and maybe clippers if you own a pair. The Knights will provides tools and anything else needed to get the job done.
