4-Month Summer Pranayama Immersive Study & Teacher Training
at Sangha Yoga Studio
and in your own home!
Certify to teach pranayama, to add depth to your asana classes, or as a class offering unto itself!
This course will explore pranayama as a spiritual, energetic practice as well as a yogic wellness methodology. It will offer preparatory chanting and use of mudra, learning of basic pranayama techniques for effect, teaching of pranayama sequencing within classes, embodied yoga breath therapeutics, exploration of subtle energy reading and mapping, uncommon variations of the practices, and much more.
The offering of this immersion is to establish a personal, daily 10-20 minute pranayama practice. Between in-person class sessions and tele-classes, students will be exploring and self-guiding the pranayama practices congruent to the arc of the syllabus. Support for your integration of pranayama into your daily life practice will be offered by the course and via weekly email; as a student, a daily intention to practice is essential.

1) Intro Weekend April 6-7, 2019, 12-4 each day
2) Thursday evenings beginning April 11, 6:30-7:30 pm at Sangha Yoga Studio
3) Call-in Tele-classes: You will call from the comfort of your own home for teleclasses/practices:
Saturdays 7-8 am Wednesdays 7:30-8:30 pm
You will receive a Yoga Alliance certificate reflecting the hours you completed.
